Program Rules

1. Eligibility

• Supported countries: The program is open to creators in the countries listed in §6. Applicants from other countries may apply but are placed on a waitlist until payout support is available.
• Minimum 5,000 followers required on at least one single platform at the time of application.
• Manual review. Every application is reviewed by the Vail0 team. Creator approval into the program is at our sole discretion.

2. Commission Rates

Tiers are determined by your standing on the leaderboard from the previous month.

• Single-use purchases ($1.59) are capped at 65% (an active referral boost can raise this to 70% — see §4). The 70% and 75% tier rates apply specifically to the $12/year annual license.
• Commission is calculated on the gross transaction amount before Stripe fees.
• Your rate is locked for the full calendar month.

3. Leaderboard

• Two boards run simultaneously: Volume (total number of sales this month) and Efficiency (sales ÷ followers × 1,000). You can rank on one or both. Follower count is determined using the largest account of each creator.
• Both boards reset on the 1st of each month. Months are calculated in UTC; the reset and month-end snapshot run at ~05:00 UTC on the 1st. The snapshot determines the following month's commission rates — e.g., March standings set April's rate.
• Efficiency scoring is based on the follower count in your creator profile. You must update your platform info in Settings to keep this current. Vail0 reserves the right to verify follower counts and adjust scores if the count on file is materially inaccurate.
• You may compete under a custom alias. Your real name is never shown on the leaderboard without your consent. Aliases must comply with conduct rules.
• The full leaderboard is visible to all logged-in creators and updates daily.

4. Creator Referral Program

Every approved creator can earn a temporary commission boost by bringing new talent into the Vail0 ecosystem.

• Eligibility to refer: All approved creators can generate referral links.
• The reward: You receive an additional 5% commission boost on all your own sales for a period of 7 days.
• Activation: The boost is triggered automatically once your referred creator completes their Stripe Connect onboarding and account setup.
• Stacking: This boost stacks on top of your current leaderboard tier (e.g., 65% becomes 70%). Multiple referrals result in additional consecutive 7-day windows, not a higher commission rate.

5. Tracking & Attribution

To receive credit for a sale, your attribution link must be used.

• Attribution link: Use your unique link — vail0.com/?ref=YOURCODE. Attribution is stored in the buyer's browser for up to 30 days (Safari limits browser storage to 7 days).
• Latest attribution wins: If a buyer follows more than one creator's link, the most recent link before purchase gets the sale (and restarts the attribution window).
• Sharing carries your code: When someone attributed to you shares Vail0, their share links carry your code — purchases by the people they reach credit you too. This continues through every further share, with no depth limit.
• Creator referrals: New creators credit you by using your referral link or entering your code on the application form.
• Best effort: Attribution relies on browser storage — private browsing or blocked storage can lose it. Sales without a stored code are not attributable to anyone.

6. Payouts & Taxes

• Payouts are processed on the 5th of each month for the prior month's earned commissions.
• Minimum payout threshold is $100. Balances below $100 roll over to the next month.
• All payouts are sent via Stripe Connect. You must complete onboarding before your first payout.
• Transfer fees are on us — you receive your full commission. International payouts are converted to your local currency at Stripe's exchange rate (~1% conversion applies).
• Supported payout countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. Applicants from any other country are placed on a waitlist until payout support is available.
• Earnings of $600 or more in a calendar year will result in a 1099-NEC for US creators. You are responsible for your own tax obligations.
• Vail0 reserves the right to withhold payouts for accounts showing bot-like traffic patterns or high refund rates.
• Refund reversals: If a buyer receives a full refund or wins a dispute, the commission on that sale is reversed. Refunds are rare. Partial refunds do not reverse commission.
• Forfeiture: Accounts terminated for violating §7 forfeit pending commissions.
• Leaving the program: If you delete your account, a pending balance of $100 or more is paid out on deletion — provided you've completed Stripe payout setup. Balances under $100, or accounts without completed payout setup, are forfeited.

7. Conduct & Prohibited Acts

Violation results in immediate removal and forfeiture of pending commissions:

• Artificial inflation — use of bots, click farms, or coordinated manipulation of metrics.
• Misrepresentation — making false claims about Vail0 products or pricing.
• Spam — mass emailing, DM blasting, or unsolicited promotion.
• Operating multiple accounts — each person is limited to one creator account.
• Brand search protection — affiliates are prohibited from bidding on "Vail0" or "Vail 0" branded keywords in any paid search environment.

8. Content License

Vail0 may seek explicit creator consent via email or DM for every individual post or asset utilized. Creators may grant Vail0 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and persistent license to use creator-generated content for marketing and user trust purposes.

9. Changes & Termination

• Rate modifications: Changes to commission percentages or tiers must be announced between the 1st and 15th of a month, taking effect on the 1st of the following month.
• You may leave the program at any time — see §6 for how a pending balance is handled on account deletion. Vail0 reserves the right to terminate any account for conduct violations.
• Program end: If the program is discontinued, all accrued commissions will be paid out within 30 days, regardless of the payout threshold.
